Sections

  1. While I think that purely as a section for a studio your "limbo" / "incongruous" is quite good, you'd have to explain to me how these drawings relate to the words. By this evaluation, I think the most 'aligned' sections to the words would be the ones on the second sheet.

"Disintegrate" is a very evocative word but somehow your studios haven't captured how dramatic it can be. Likewise, my interpretation of the word "limbo" would be closer to a feeling of 'ambiguity' or 'uncertainty'. Perhaps you have already thought this through and have a very good rationale for these studios - but do you see what I mean? Your words have great potential but I wouldn't guess what they were by looking at some of these drawings.

Look at "contemplative". These forms do look like they're at rest, balanced, maybe looking at the sky. Not to say that you should necessarily model this section, but there's definitely a link between the word and the effect of the drawing. If I were you, I'd give "disintegrate" and "limbo" a few more goes and move swiftly on to SketchUp.

Also, give some thought to materials and wall thicknesses.

Oh, and you're always welcome to argue with me if you think I've missed the point :)
